Preparing the site for the heater:

I. OPTION

  2. Dig a hole with dimensions: L: 6.29″ x W: 6.29″ H: 6.37″.
  3. Then, place the heater into the hole. Ensure that the hole is both deep and wide enough. Then, insert the legs into the bottom of the hole, ensuring that the corners/ears of the black container are fully visible.
  4. To prepare the soil, gently press it around the container and lightly tap it.
  5. Place a spirit level on the cover to ensure that the surface where the water container will be placed is flat and parallel to the ground.

II. OPTION

Tool: Spirit level
Material: cinder blocks or bricks

  1. Choose a flat area outside the chicken coop in the hen run, preferably as far downwind as possible.
